iPass Activates 9,600 Hotspots in Russia.
Connect at more than 9,600 hotspots in Russia, now available through i-Connected.
Thanks to iPass’ partnership with a leading telecommunications provider in Russia, travelers to Europe can now count on secure and seamless Internet connectivity throughout even more major cities and airports.
New Russian Hotspots include:
Outdoor Metro Wi-Fi in Moscow. Moscow is Russia’s largest city and one of the largest metropolitan areas in Europe. iPass service is now available through the city’s massive Metro Wi-Fi, which includes more than 8,500 hotspots in and around the nation’s capital.
Major Cities. iPass customers gain significant coverage in major business centers throughout Moscow, St. Petersburg and other large cities such as Ekaterinburg, Khabarovsk, Ufa and Krasnoyarsk.
Airports. Access 70 hotspots at four airports, including Moscow’s Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo International Airports, among others. Domodedovo is Russia’s largest airport and one of the world’s top 100 airports serving more than 20 million passengers in 2008.
Cafés and Restaurants. Stay connected at hotspots in McDonald’s, Starbucks, Coffee House and Yaposha chains, to name a few, as well as in shopping centers and other retail locations.
With i-Connected, you can now get connected to the Internet at more than 120,000 broadband locations worldwide.
